We produce TV commercials, narrative shorts & feature films, music videos, and movement | dance films as well as TV shows. Our end-to-end capabilities allow us to manage every phase of a project—from its inception to delivery—all under one roof. We boast a network of elite industry professionals, ranging from crew members to post-production experts, ensuring that each project is completed on time and within budget to the highest of standards. We are conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Warren Street station in central London, our offices sit above our own creative spaces and casting studios providing an integrated and efficient environment for all your production needs.
FOUNDER & Film Director - Dan Löwenstein
Dan has spent many years as a freelance director, a role that seamlessly transitioned into producing, allowing him to build an extensive network of industry contacts. This journey culminated in the creation of House of Create. House of Create is co-founded with his wife, Marie, a casting assistant, choreographer & performer, providing them with comprehensive access to all facets of the industry.
Dan is a London based director working on narrative projects with a focus on telling truthful and real stories, often linked to charitable causes. Dan is a mental health advocate and uses film as medium to share the Human condition as well as entertain audiences. This approach has gained Dan multiple festival wins for his eclectic films. Dan was a professional dancer in a previous life and still works with dance companies on a regular basis, he loves to tell stories through movement, most notably EGO & KIN, 2 films he was commissioned to make for Northern Ballet, both with a strong focus on mental health. KIN has been nominated for Best Dance Film as this years National Dance Awards (critics circle).
Dan’s passion for film making led him to start House of Create, a production company based in Fitzrovia. Since starting HoC Dan has directed numerous films including That’s Just Me starring Pixie Lott, Marie McGonigle & Anthony Kaye (Slow Horses, Dracula, Maleficent); Becoming Everything and Hubris starring Andrew Koji (Bullet Train, Warrior, Snake Eyes), Sweet Honey, SAFE, as well as most recently Desedirium a short charity film linked with Chasing The Stigma, is House of Creates current Charity Partner. Desiderium stars Starring Angelo Dellicompagni, Tom Feasby and Annabelle Dowler (The Reckoning, Dr Who, Emmerdale) Desederium is due to be released with the month.
Dan’s most recent awards include - Best Director at CLIMAX film festival for Sweet Honey / Best Dance film at Planet Cinema for Sweet Honey / Best Director at IndieX film festival for That’s Just Me / Best Film at Accolade Global Film Competition for EGO / Best Director at Directors Notes for SAFE / Best Drama at Indie short fest for Becoming Everything, Best Narrative UK Short at London Indie Short Fest for Becoming Everything / Best drama of the year at Top Shorts for Becoming Everything plus many more.

Marie is the co-founder of House of Create with Dan.
Marie is a versatile professional actress, singer, choreographer, dancer, and model. She has extensive experience working with renowned artists on live TV, drama, and stage performances.
As a dancer, Marie is skilled in various styles, including tap, ballet, jazz, and contemporary. She has performed with artists like Bryan May, Paloma Faith, and Rihanna, and appeared on TV shows such as 'So You Think You Can Dance' and 'Strictly Come Dancing.'
Marie is also a sought-after choreographer and teacher, having choreographed for the MTV VMA awards and worked with the 'Strictly Come Dancing' pros. She is the choreographer for Urban Voices Collective and an acting coach for Instinctual Acting. Marie also choreographs TV Commercials including Freemans and Lego.
Her acting accolades include winning Best Actress at the IndieX film festival for 'That's Just Me.' She has appeared in 'Doctor Who,' 'Eastenders,’ and was a regular character on 'Apple Tree House,’ for CBBC among other roles.
As a singer, Marie has a mezzo-soprano voice and performs with her family band, The McGonigles. They have collaborated with Rambert, Northern Ballet, and Peaky Blinders. Marie is also a member of Urban Voices Collective, performing at high-profile events like The Olympics closing ceremony and The BAFTAs.

Jo Tracy - Script Editor & Development Producer
Jo is a freelance Script Editor and Development Producer with 25+ years’ experience in TV and Film, with a background in publishing/editing. Skilled in generating and developing projects and creating and implementing development strategies; script editing & script notes, from conception to production; all genres at all budget levels; expertise in adaptations; has devised and run development / writing workshops, and sat on many judging panels, including Rankin’s short film competition and the TV Emmys.
Working across all development roles for a variety of companies & funding bodies including Focus Features, Paramount, Working Title, The Irish Film Board, Film 4, BFI, and Creative England; as well as with creative individuals such as Abi Morgan, Cosmo Jarvis, Colin Firth; and with many of the UK’s leading producers, in particular Alison Owen, Kevin Loader and Norma Heyman.
